Find Devils Tower National Monument during National Park Week

Press Release – Celebrate the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary and “Find Your Park” at Devils Tower National Monument during National Park Week, April 16 through 24.  Entrance fees will be waived all week and enjoy a beautiful drive through the rolling Black Hills of Northeast Wyoming. “During National Park Week, and throughout the centennial year, we invite everyone from near and far to come to Devils Tower National Monument and experience the Tower” said Tim Reid, superintendent.
 

  • ·     National Junior Ranger Day, Saturday April 16, 11 am join a ranger for a special Junior Ranger program.  Meet in front of the visitor center. 
  • ·        Sunday, April 17 10am join a ranger for a 1 and half hour guided walk on the Tower Trail. Meet in front of the visitor center. 
  •  ·       Wednesday April 20, 10 am – 12 noon Citizen Science program. Join a ranger at the visitor center to discover the elusive porcupine.
  •  ·        Saturday April 23, 10 am join the ranger at Prairie Dog town for an in depth look at the whimsical prairie dogs.

    For all events bring good hiking shoes and dinking water.
