Campbell County Medical Group to host Diabetes Seminar

Press Release – Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG) Diabetes Education Center is hosting a free educational seminar titled “Living Well with Diabetes” on Tuesday, November 7 from 9 am-1:30 pm at the Wyoming Room, Campbell County Public Library, 2101 S. 4-J Road.

Open to anyone impacted by diabetes, the seminar features speakers on a variety of topics centered around diabetes. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after each session.

“This is a great opportunity for people with diabetes to learn about the latest research and medications available,” said Melissa Gorsuch, RN, Diabetes Educator. “It’s also a way for newly diagnosed people, or people who have been living with diabetes for a while to get some tips and new motivation to take better control of their health.”

Topics include: Living well with a chronic disease, by Thomas Repas, DO, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at CCMG; Caring for your vision with diabetes, by Melissa Younger, OD, Gillette Optometric Clinic; Foot care for a strong foundation, by Robert Grunfeld, MD, Powder River Orthopedics and Spine, a CCMG clinic; and Taking the next steps: Using activity to impact diabetes, by Rachel Wilde, Wellness Supervisor and Health Coach at Campbell County Health.
