Fatal Crash Monday Morning On Hwy 387

The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents on January 16, 2017

At 4:09 a.m. to Highland Court for an EMS assist.

At 5:16 a.m. to HWY 387 for a 2-vehicle head-on collision. Once vehicle was fully involved in fire upon CCFD arrival. Crews were able to place the fire under control and provide patient care. One person died in the collision and one person was transported by ground ambulance to CCH.

*The crash is being investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. More information will be provided later. 

At 11:27 a.m. to 912 W 8th Street, Pioneer Apartments, for an automatic fire alarm. Crews arrived to find that there was no emergency and just burnt food.

At 12:43 p.m. to N Gurley Avenue for an EMS assist.

At 3:11 p.m. to 6480 Swanson Road for a report of smoke in the building. Crews arrived to a commercial structure and encountered light smoke throughout the shop area. Crews were able to located the origin burning and extinguish it. The cause is currently under investigation by CCFD.

At 6:13 p.m. to 250 W Shoshone Avenue, Rec Center, for an EMS assist.
