The Gillette Girls Track team captured first place, Saturday, at the Natrona Invite. The Boys' team placed second.
The Girls got first place finishes from Tabitha Simmons, in the 1600 meter run; Chandra Sturtz, in the Pole Vault; and the 4x400 meter relay team of Olivia McCann, Sidney McClure, Haley Urbatsch, and Grace Wiley.
Second place finishers, for the Gillette girls, included Ruth Sifuma in the 100 meter hurdles and McCann in the High Jump.
Julia Seamans took third in the 100 meter dash, as did Abby Phillips in the 1600 meter run, McKenna Massman in the high jump, Jandey Shackleford in the triple jump, and the 4x400 meter 'B' relay team of Kassidy Wanke, Breann Clemetson, Anisa Stepanski, and Alissa Guernsey.
As for the Gillette Boys, they got first place finishes from Harrison Simmons in the 800 and 1600 meter runs; and Dustin Erisman, in the Pole Vault.
Erisman took second in the 400 meter dash, as did Walker Newell in the Pole Vault.
Third place finishers, for the Gillette boys, included Tychun Aipperspach, in the 100 meter dash; Kris Adams, in the Pole Vault; and the 4x100 meter relay team of Caden Erickson, Erisman, Aipperspach, and Newell.
