Gillette Swimming Takes First in Eight Events vs Buffalo

The Gillette Girls Swim and Dive team hosted a meet against Buffalo, last Thursday, where the Camels came away with eight first place finishes in twelve events.

Sophomore Annie Waldum placed first in the 200 Yard and 100 Yard Freestyle races.  Freshman Rylie Pilon was the top finisher in both the 200 Yard Individual Medley and 500 yard freestyle.  Sophomore Katie Carsrud took first in both the 50 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Butterfly.   

The relay team of Averyonna Kimery, Shakira Dohse, Emmalee Carsrud, and Taylor Schiefelbein won the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay; and the team of Sage Riss, Annie Waldum, Sunshine Roberts, and Rylie Pilon claimed the top spot in the 400 Yard freestyle relay.

The Camels were on the road against Laramie on Saturday, and are home against Sheridan this Friday afternoon.
