July 4th Information

City of Gillette offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

There will be no trash*, recycling and yard waste collection on Friday, July 4th.  The City's Solid Waste Division will run double routes on Monday, July 7th and pick up Friday and Monday's trash, recycling and yard waste.  Please have your roll-out and recycling at the curb by 7 a.m.

City offices will re-open on Monday, July 7th.

The Fourth of July Parade, hosted by Campbell County Parks & Recreation, will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of 2nd Street and 4J Road and end at the 2nd Street/Osborne Avenue.  Parade Map [PDF]  It is anticipated that the 2nd Street/Gillette Avenue intersection will remain closed until the parade begins, and then the intersection will open up for through traffic after the parade is over.  Please plan accordingly.
