Welcome to the Legends of Country Page. This is a feature program on KGWY, Gillette heard each Saturday Morning from 6am-9am hosted by John English.

So, what is Legends of Country? Each Saturday morning we have a live program dedicated to the singers and songwriters of days gone by. Are they all be the biggest hits? Nope, we focus on the artist, then the music. So you will hear tunes that maybe didn’t chart well or at all…but you will know, love and trust the performer. The program features music not heard any other time of the week on the Fox. We have found hundreds of songs that are not in our regular library that will be played during each broadcast of Legends of Country.

Beyond the music, Legends of Country will be alive with artist features, interviews and prizes. Listen during the month of April as we feature the music of Charlie Pride. Additionally, we will have Country Music news, a weekly Spotlight on the Country Music Hall of Fame and more!

Also, each Saturday morning at 7:05 AM we present a news week-in-review feature. Then at 8:05 AM, join Sports Director Terry Michael for a recap on weekend sports. Toss in some fun phone calls from listeners and you have Legends of Country!
