According to a new study, people who use a bicycle as their method of transportation are happier than those who drive or use mass transit."We found that people are in the best mood while they are bicycling compared to any other mode of transportation," said study leader Eric Morris of Clemson University in South Carolina. "Bicyclists are generally younger and physically healthy, which are traits that happier people usually possess."The study found that after bike riders, car passengers are the second happiest travelers. Car drivers came in third.Bus and train riders are the unhappiest travelers − but that may be explained by the fact that people usually take trains and buses to commute to work. (Health Day News)
