Pronghorn women win big on road, men fall for first time in 20 games

SHERIDAN, Wyo.--The Gillette College Pronghorn basketball teams were on the road in Sheridan on Saturday.

The Pronghorn women got a much-needed road win against the Sheridan College General women. The final was 82-76.

The Pronghorn men had their 19-game win streak come to an end against Sheridan College, 87-85.

When it comes to standins, the win for the women sets up a three-way tie for first in the North Sub-Region of the Region IX. Western Wyoming College, Dawson Community College and the Pronghorns are 7-3 and on top of the rest of the pack.

For the men, The loss hurt when it comes to the streak, but Casper College also lost Saturday. The Pronghorn men are still in first at 9-1. Sheridan College is second at 8-3 and Casper College is third at 7-3.

Both Pronghorn squads head to Miles City, Mont. on Wednesday to play the Miles Community College teams.
