WGFD Sheridan Region Releases Angler Newsletter

SHERIDAN - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department Sheridan Regional Fish Management and Aquatic Habitat Crews have finished the 2014 Angler Newsletter and are encouraging those interested in fishing and aquatic habitat issues to read the newsletter. The newsletter highlights fish sampling done in 2013 and past years on Keyhole, Lake DeSmet and wilderness lakes in the Bighorn Mountains. Articles discussing aquatic habitat projects being done in northeast Wyoming, reptile and amphibian surveys, and aquatic invasive species activities are also in the newsletter.

Several biologists contribute material and Sheridan Regional Fish Management Biologist Andrew Nikirk is responsible for assembling the newsletter.   Nikirk says, “The Sheridan Region Fish Management and Aquatic Habitat Crews create these annual newsletters to inform people of past and present aquatics work in northeast Wyoming.”
