RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) - A circuit court judge has dismissed two charges against a former Rawlins Police Department captain but says there is enough evidence to merit a trial on several other felonies, including sexual assault.

Forty-six-year-old Adam "Lee" Meacham will be arraigned in District Court on one felony count each of first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault. He's also facing six felony counts of immoral or indecent acts, as well as some misdemeanors.

Prosecutors say Meacham had sex with a 15-year-old girl and a series of sexual encounters in 1996 with another teen who was participating in a police ride-along program.

If convicted, he faces up to 125 years in prison.
