Steven James Sharp
Memorial service for Steven James Sharp will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 3, 2010 at Family Life Church with Pastor Martin Crump officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #42.
Steven "Red" Sharp, age 39, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his home.
Steven sharp was born on November 6, 1970 in Sheridan, Wyoming the son of Rusty and Susan (Moore) Sharp. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 1990, and entered the Navy in Great Lakes, Michigan where he went to "A" school.
After graduating from there he was posted to his ship the USS Abraham Lincoln and served two tours in the Gulf and in Somalia during Desert Storm. Red made some wonderful friends during his time in the Navy and traveled around the world from Hong Kong, to Hawaii, and to Australia.
Upon his honorable discharge in 1994, he returned to Gillette for a while then going to Mitchell Technical Institute, in South Dakota, where he graduated in 1996, Red returned to Gillette and worked for ABL for several years and after that he worked for MCM for about 12 years, a job that he loved.
Red married in October of 2006 and was divorced in March of 2010. He loved hunting and fishing and especially loved his cats. Red's favorite places to be were on the Big Horn Mountains and at the Sharp Ranch.
He would help anyone out who needed it. Red was skilled in woodworking, building himself, his parents and friends beautiful furniture.
Red is survived by his parents, brother, Sandy and his wife Ramsey Sharp all of Gillette, Wyoming; niece Sara Sharp; nephew, Scott Sharp who he loved dearly; several aunts and many cousins both here in America and in England where his mother is from.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his uncle, John Sharp.

Trent Mitchell
Funeral service for Trent Mitchell will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2903 Allen Ave, Gillette, WY. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church with Bishop John Kertesz presiding .
Trent Leland Mitchell age 32, returned to his Heavenly Father’s loving arms and care August 30, 2010.
Trent was born February 19, 1978 to Marion “Lon” and JoAnne (Duncan) Mitchell in Roosevelt, Utah. He graduated from Evanston High School in Evanston, WY in 1996. Trent met his eternal companion, Melanie McFarland while attending school in Laramie, WY. Trent and Melanie were married in the Bountiful Utah Temple for all time and eternity, August 9, 2002.
He was a member of FFA, an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a full time mission to the Brazilia, Brazil Mission. He loved the church and his heavenly father, and had a testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ was true and wanted everyone that he knew to know that.
Trent moved to Gillette, WY in 2000 and was employed by TIC, Boart Longyear, Magna, and was currently employed by Anadarko in Gillette, WY. Trent was 6’5” and enjoyed being tall. He loved cars, pickups, drilling, building, hard work, rodeos and music. Most of all he loved being a daddy and spending time with his most precious gift he received from his father in heaven, his four daughters, Tyleigh Winter, Miken Mckenna, Maryn Leigh and Tyme Joleigh and the rest of his family.
Trent is survived by his wife Melanie of Gillette, WY; four daughters, Tyleigh, Mikyn, Maryn, Tyme Mitchell of Gillette, WY; parents, Lon & JoAnn Mitchell of Rozet, WY; brother, Brandon (Erin) Mitchell of Rozet, WY; sister, Dusti (Quinn) Martin of Moorcroft, WY; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Duane and his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, a ”Trent Mitchell Memorial Fund” has been established at the American National Bank, 800 East 7th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
