Gillette College (13-9, 5-3) easily took care of the Lady Huskies, 71-50, as both Iesha Greer and Diarra Carrington led the Pronghorns with 12 points on the evening.

The Lady Huskies had trouble making shots from the field in the first half, as they made only 21.2 percent of their opportunities. Gillette College shot 55.2 percent in the same category. At the end of the first half, the Pronghorns were up, 40-20.


In the second half, the Lady Huskies had higher percentages from the floor and beyond the arc, but Gillette’s lead coming out of halftime, as well as its ability to make shots from the charity stripe were just too much for Air Force Prep. Erica Norwood for Air Force Prep led all players with 17 points, but she was the only Lady Husky to get into double digits.


The Pronghorn women, as well as the men’s team, will take on Dawson Community College Saturday at the South Campus. The women tip off at 5:30pm and the men follow at 7:30pm.
