It was a great night for Pronghorns center James Hunter, as he scored his junior college high of 25 points Wednesday night at the South Campus. Hunter and George Edwards, who had the game high of 28 points, led the Pronghorns to a 108-65 victory over Little Big Horn College (LBHC).

Gillette College (15-10, 6-6) had a slow start, trailing LBHC by six points early in the game. After they early jitters were out, the Pronghorns shared the wealth on the scoreboard. Four Pronghorns finished with 12 points or more and Edwards had another double-double in the game.

Hunter was bumped to the floor in the second half by Colin Tyrone of LBHC. The two were visibly angry with each other after that. Hunter kept his cool, but was called for a technical when he looked right at Tyrone and applauded after making the first of two free throw attempts after being fouled by Tyrone.

Hunter had the last laugh though, as he was 10 for 13 from the floor and five of eight from the free throw line. Tyrone finished with 2 points.

Gillette College out-rebounded LBHC 58-33 ans stole the ball 13 times from the Rams. The Pronghorns made eight long balls and was 66.7 percent from the line and 60 percent from the floor.

Isiah Birdinground led LBHC with 16 points

The Pronghorns host Central Wyoming College at the South Campus Saturday night. The game has been pushed back to an 8pm start due to a wrestling tournament to be held at the South Campus earlier in the day.
