towards radio began my freshmen year in high school. I was an officer

in the FFA for four years and my junior year accidentally won the local

public speaking contest. The next year I not only won the local, but also

district and state and went on and competed in the National FFA public

speaking contest in Kansas City. Somewhere along the way my advisor

commented that radio would be a good career choice and several state's

and seven different radio stations later I find myself in Gillette Wyoming

and lovin' it! My wife Gina and daughter Jenikah came along for the ride.

My entire radio career, (except for three months in 1995) has been spent in country

music. There is no better music than country! I also spent 27 years behind

the microphone doing play by play for high school and college sports, including

three years with the Camels. My philosophy on my show is to have fun and

play great country. We hear enough bad news in our lives, I try to focus
