*Update* Press Release -  59 vehicles have been confirmed to be involved in this morning's crash with the potential of another four to six more. The large fire that ensued from the crash delayed the investigation efforts for an extended period. Wyoming Highway Patrol Crash Team Members and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation are still continuing to work through the crash

For the second time in less than five days, Interstate 80 is closed due to a major vehicle pileup approximately 18 miles west of Laramie at mile post 292.

The Bighorn National Forest, Tongue Ranger District, is seeking comments from the public, regarding a special use permit for Dayton Gulch Outfitters, which would allow them to offer rental camps for visitors. The proposal would be for 45 service days within the ranger district. Camp locations, according to the proposal would be accessible by motorized vehicles using Forest Service roads and trails. Two fatalities within the past week have brought the total number of deaths on Wyoming's roadways to 27, which is right at where the figures were a year ago at this time. Both accidents occurred on April 3rd in different parts of the state. The first happened at 5:50 pm about three miles west of Centennial on Wyoming Highway 130.  Read more
