Can a whole town be a TV star? Of course it can! Film and TV productions have come to Sheridan numerous times, including major motion pictures. While not a major motion picture, a television pilot was being shot in town for the past several days and its producer is none other than the daughter of Senator Dave Kinskey, Becca Kinskey.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek, and Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder spoke about the investigation that resulted in eleven arrests and had been occurring for about six months. The investigation into narcotic activity was a collaboration between the Buffalo Police Department, Johnson County Sheriff's Department and Johnson County Attorney's office. Read more

Earlier this year, the US Air Force finalized an approval for an expansion of airspace known as the "Powder River Training Complex" which encompasses parts of Northeastern Wyoming, Southeastern Montana, and both South and North Dakota. As we reported on the noon newscast, a vehicle struck a rock in Wind River Canyon on US 20 Sunday, resulting in injuries sustained. A news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol indicates the vehicle was not a bus as originally thought, but a 1999 Jeep, which collided with a rock. The incident happened at 10 pm north of the tunnels on US 20 in Fremont County. The Jeep was owned by Charles Flickinger of Cody, and was heading north when the left front tire struck a rock.
