LARAMIE, Wyo.)  July 10, 2014 – The Owen Fire remains 80 percent contained with fire managers optimistic that today’s forecast of evening rain showers will assist firefighter efforts. Fireline construction, with the aid of mechanical equipment, is taking place along the east side of the fire.

A Worland family was rescued over the weekend after becoming stuck in deep mud on public land in Park County. 30 year old Jeffrey Kordonowy and his wife Nicole Phillips, also 30, left Worland Friday evening with their two young children, ages three and eight.

Candidates' answers to a questionnaire from the Park County Republican Party have been made public. The county GOP posted scanned images of answers to a questionnaire created by members of the party. Recently, the questions were suspect of Tea Party meddling.

If you're not able to make it to the polls during the Primary Election August 19th, consider voting absentee! Also, if you're one of those that prefers getting things done ahead of time, this is the option for you.
