The City of Gillette Sustainability Division is reminding all Gillette utility customers that the Water Waste Ordinance will go into effect Monday, June 1st. This means that watering on Mondays is not allowed, per City code, through October 1st.

The voluntary summer watering schedule also begins on June 1st. The watering schedule is as follows:

Press Release - A fatal crash on May 27th resulted in the death of 52 year old Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada resident Mary M. Sataya. The crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. near mile post 38 on Wyoming State Highway 24 approximately two miles west of Aladdin, Wyoming. 



Mary Sataya was operating a 2011 Suzuki motorcycle when the motorcycle collided with a deer on the roadway.

Western Sheridan County is under a flood advisory until 5 pm this afternoon. Creeks were rising overnight due to rainfall according to the National Weather Service. This includes Little Goose Creek, which has already experienced heavy flooding this week alone. At the time of this post (9 am), Little Goose had gone back up into moderate flood stage, after dropping from its high point of 6 1/2 feet on Sunday. Currently the creek is sitting at slightly above the line for moderate flooding, 4.7 feet. Read more
