Press Release – Alex Richard Ascherin, a Wyoming inmate, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming from an alleged suicide. The incident is under investigation by the Wyoming Department of Corrections in conjunction with the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office and Carbon County Coroner.

Press Release - A fatal crash north of Chugwater, Wyoming has resulted in the death of 25 year old Casper, Wyoming resident Michael L. Cooper. The crash occurred at 12:35 p.m. on February 1st near mile post 65 on Interstate 25 southbound approximately 11 miles north of Chugwater.

A verdict was reached in an aggravated vehicular homicide trial for 22-year-old Cody Shinost of Thermopolis in the Wyoming 5th Judicial District Court in Worland on Thursday night, February 4.
