The City of Gillette Animal Shelter is looking for dependable volunteers to assist with care of the animals. Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older. There will be Volunteer Training classes at the Animal Shelter beginning September 14th at 4:00 p.m.

The Hunter Peak Fire which is located 30 miles northwest of Cody on the Clarks Fork Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest has burned 3595 acres and is now 54% contained.
