A Veterans Breakfast is held on the last Tuesday of every month at the Campbell County Senior Center.
The breakfast is FREE to all Veterans. The next breakfast will be held on Tuesday 29 July  2014
The breakfast starts at 8 am and usually lasts for about an hour. During the breakfast we discuss what is happening in the Veteran Community.

 The Gillette Police Department is notifying local businesses of a potential scam in which an adult male with a middle eastern accent is contacting local businesses that sell pre-paid credit cards and demanding that the clerk deposit money onto pre-paid cards.  The caller is threatening that if the clerk doesn't comply, it will result in violence at the business.

Excessive speed is being investigated as the contributing factor in a single vehicle rollover near Newcastle on July 23rd. The crash occurred at mile post 245 on US 85 approximately 15 miles east of Newcastle at 6:00 pm. 

Witness reports indicated that 25 year old William Cruzen of Ofallon, Illinois was traveling south at a high rate of speed prior to the crash in the 2004 Lexus SUV

At 9:14 PM on July 26th, the Campbell County Fire Deparment responded to mile marker 28 on HWY 50 for the report of a grass fire. The fire was caused by a hawk that had landed on the power line at a switch, was electrocuted and burned. When the hawk fell to the ground it started a grass fire. The fire burned approximately 2.5 acres.

A fire on the Bighorn Mountains continues to burn. Nearly 100 personnel are battling the lightning-cause Roane Creek Fire burning 2.5 miles south of Highway 14A in the Pete's Hole area.

Governor Matt Mead will be in Cody Tuesday. Staff confirmed that Mead will sit-in for a half hour interview on KODI's Speak Your Piece program Tuesday, August 5 at 9:30 am.

The City of Cody has extended an offer of employment to one of four City Administrator candidates. The employment offer was made to current General Manager of the Joint Powers Board in Green River, Wyoming, Barry Cook.
