The City has been and will continue to pick up branches/storm debris in public right of way areas to maintain arterial streets, collector streets and emergency routes.
In addition, the City will be doing a scheduled cleanup of debris caused by downed trees and broken tree limbs in city subdivisions. Multiple drop off sites will be available, including the Yard Waste site at the Waste Water plant. For those who can, transporting the branches/storm debris to a drop off site will be the quickest way to get rid of your storm debris. Please put the storm debris as close to the street as possible, without blocking the side walk to maintain pedestrian access; especially for children walking to school. Please avoid clogging storm drains to allow the storm melt to drain properly.
Please use caution when removing tree limbs to avoid injury, and watch for weakend and low hanging branches.
The following is a list of our community drop off sites that will be established for citizens to bring their branch piles. They are all in City Park parking lots. The drop off areas will be marked with cones.
