Today we wrap up our series on the opportunity to make volunteering in your community your New Year’s resolution. Camplex Theater Manager, Jamie Gilmore , says the Heritage Center Theater provides chances for entire families.
“At the Camplex Heritage Center, we use a group of volunteers for every event we have in the theater. Volunteers do anything from handing out programs, taking tickets, helping people find seating, and working in our concession stand.”
Gilmore says they also strive to provide a chance for youth in the community to volunteer.
“One thing that we really like to do is to allow youth to volunteer along with their parents. So, we have a lot of kids that kind of get the spirit of volunteering here at the theater. So, we have a really good time with our “ambassadors”, as we call them.”

“We also do use even larger number or volunteers for special events like the National High School Finals Rodeo; so keep that in mind as we come up to our next round of that in 2016.”
