October Is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

002October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and purple ribbons are on display all around Gillette to help bring awareness.  The Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation is "painting the town purple" to help spread the word about the devastating effects the crime of domestic violence has on communities.  You can help spread the word by becoming a GARF Volunteer, attending community awareness events, or simply wearing or displaying purple ribbons to show your support.
