Gun Cleaning Man Wounds Self and Shoots TV

  A little before 8pm on Saturday night the Campbell County Sheriff's Office responded to Nepstad Drive for a gunshot wound.  A 40 year old Gillette man had apparently wounded himself in the leg after a mishap cleaning his gun.  Under-sheriff Scott Matheny said the man told deputies he had his leg up on a TV tray while he was cleaning his .45-caliber handgun. The bullet went threw the man's left leg above his knee and exited below his knee.  Deputies also noted a bullet hole at the bottom of the man's TV.  The man was treated and released from Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
