At about 10:30 p.m. on February 3rd, the Gillette Police Department responded to investigate a call of criminal trespass. A 15-year-old boy had been conversing on Facebook with a 14-year-old female and the two arranged to meet. The 15-year-old drove his mother's vehicle to the girls residence and attempted to knock on her window. Police Lieutenant Brent Wasson said the boy mistakenly knocked on the window of the female's father, and was soon running away as the father "attempted to locate him." The 15-year-old was cited for driving without a valid license and given a trespass notice.
