Burglary Suspects Found Near Stuck Stolen Truck

 GPD-Patch-FixedAt about 5 am on February 8th, the Gillette Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Echeta Road.  A 61-year-old man reported that Rebel Testing Inc. had been broken into overnight.  The man reported that a 2006 Chevrolet Truck valued at $20,000 had been taken. Police Lieutenant Brent Wasson said officers found two broken windows, a damaged door, and a tool believed to have been used by the suspects. The bulletin regarding the stolen vehicle was soon picked up by another law enforcement agency.

 Two Gillette men ages 21 and 32, where located in the area and after an initial investigation were taken to the Campbell County Detention Center.  They were held as suspects for burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and larceny, all felonies.  Wasson said the two suspects provided conflicting information about who was involved in taking the truck, but both admit arriving in Crook County in the vehicle.  Wasson said this morning that the investigation is ongoing.
