Gillete Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

At about sixteen minutes after midnight on August 30th, The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office responded to mile marker 3.6 on Highway 50, to the scene of a motorcycle crash. Undersheriff Scott Matheny said the accident involved a black and yellow 2001 Suzuki motorcycle.
The Campbell County Coroner’s Office said this morning that thirty year old Michael James Eckenrod died from his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
