The City of Gillette has announced an emergency lane closure on northbound Burma Avenue from 1st Street to Larch Street (just south of Warlow Drive) beginning Friday, May 10th and running until Monday, May 20th. The lane closure is to allow crews to inspect and repair a water main leak. This means that no traffic will be able travel northbound across the railroad tracks at the Burma Avenue railroad crossing.
There will be no interruption in water service to City utility customers.
The southbound lane of Burma Avenue from Warlow Drive to 1st Street will remain open. Please plan accordingly and give crews in the area a brake!
