Update: Gillete Man Found Alive

Update: Thorn's aunt, Carla Freemore, says Jordan was found by the search party and was found alive. Details on his condition were not yet available at 12:30 pm, when Freemore provided the update.

Previous Information:

Gillette Police Sergeant Dirk Blackmer said this morning that a search was underway in Big Horn County after a missing Gillette hiker's 2007 RAV-4 was located at the West Tensleep Lake Trail-head.  Jordan Thorn age 24, registered for a five day hike and was supposed to return on Sunday.  The family of Thorn is asking for anybody who may have made the West Tensleep Lake hike in the last week to contact authorities if they saw a lone hiker fitting his description.  Thorn's aunt Carla Freemore says Jordan is 5' 4", 135 pounds with brown hair.  To contact the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office call 307-568-2324
