Press Release - After 31 years of dispatching for the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Dispatcher Missy Moellenberg has hung up her headset. Dispatcher Moellenberg began her career on October 17th, 1983 and officially retired on December 01st, 2014. Dispatcher Moellenberg was the last of her dispatch class from 1983 and achieved the level of Dispatcher II before her retirement.

You know you've done something right if your non-profit gets featured in an international website such as the Huffington Post. Sheridan's own Sheridan Angels organization recently did just that. The organization was selected to represent Wyoming in the Tom's of Maine "50 States for Good" community giving program. On September 26th, a vehicle crash was reported around 3 pm near the Acme exit off Interstate 90. First responders made it to the scene but noticed nobody was in the vehicle, which at the time was on its top after rolling. A few moments later, a man suspected of stealing the vehicle was spotted taking another vehicle from the Kleenburn area. What resulted following the second theft was a high speed chase that ultimately ended on Soldier Creek Road west of Sheridan. Micah Lacunza was subsequently arrested and bond was set at $50,000.
