Regional Medical Center Cheyenne – John L. Hawkes, Jr., an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, died Thursday, July, 25, 2013 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Hawkes was sentenced on May 15, 2012 in Campbell County by District Court Judge Michael N. Deegan. He was sentenced to 5-8 years for wrongful taking or disposing of property.Last Updated on Friday, 26 July 2013 07:54 Read more: Wyoming Inmate Hawkes Dies
Yesterday, Campbell County Sheriff's Investigator Kim Jones released a few additional details in the search for missing Campbell County woman Shannon Nicole McIntyre McClure.
The last reported sighting of McClure was in Sheridan on June 15, 2013. McClure's husband reported to officers involved in the search that he dropped her off at the Sheridan Wal-Mart about 3 o'clock in the morning so she could visit her sister in Sheridan. There has not been a reported sighting of the mother of a 14-month-old son, and three step-daughters, since then.
Jones says that all of McClure's family has been cooperative in the search.

Today Campbell County Sheriffs Office investigator Gary Sams released information on a missing person case they are investigating. Sams said Shannon Nicole McIntyre McClure; age 23 of northern Campbell County was last seen on June 15th in Sheridan.

Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a hit and run that occurred at the intersection of North Hwy 14/16 and Fourth Avenue on 07/16/2013 at 1:24 PM. At this time a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Hwy 14/16 when a dark Green Chevrolet pickup, possibly 1995-1997 with two male occupants traveling southbound made a left turn immediately in front of the motorcycle causing a collision. After the collision the truck left the area eastbound on Fourth Avenue. Damage to the pickup can be observed on the passenger side of the truck bed, near the rear wheel.
