City of Gillette Administrator Commments on PRECorp Complaint

On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, Powder River Energy Corporation attorney Mark Hughes filed a complaint with the District Court in Gillette of the 6th Judicial Circuit, to reclaim PRECorp’s right to provide electrical service to the CAM-PLEX event facilities, RV parks, and fire station, and to declare that the City of Gillette has no right to serve any area outside of its municipal boundaries.
On Wednesday morning, City of Gillette Administrator Carter Napier provided some comments on the complaint. Napier also commented on the possibility of Cam-Plex being annexed by the City of Gillette in the future. Read more: City of Gillette Administrator Commments on PRECorp Complaint

GILLETTE, WY – Jonni Belden, RN, BSN, has accepted the position of Administrator at Pioneer Manor, Campbell County Memorial Hospital’s long term care facility. Ms. Belden has been the Interim Administrator since August 2012. She was offered the permanent position after successfully completing the requirements for her Nursing Home Administrator’s license. Licensure is a state and federal requirement, and consists of a six-month Administrator-in-training program under the supervision of a licensed long term care administrator; and successful completion of a licensing exam on the domains of long term care. Annual license renewal and continuing education hours are also required.

The City of Gillette announces the closure of Westover Road from Burma Avenue to the County Landfill beginning 6 a.m. Monday, March 11th through Monday, March 18th. Access to the County Landfill will be maintained, but those wishing to use the landfill will have to access the Landfill from a
temporary access via Burma Avenue and Westover Road.
