The previously announced schedule for storm debris cleanup had to be suspended Monday due to the forecast of snow. A revised cleanup schedule will be released at a later date.
The primary reason for the suspension of cleanup activities is that the City trucks hauling storm debris are also snowplow trucks, and require a six-hour process to be rigged/dressed for plowing. Based on the forecast and results of this storm, a contractor may be used to perform the scheduled cleanup with City crews taking over after the storm has passed.
