Suspect in Wyo. girl kidnapping held in Mont. jail

The Cody Police Department held a press conference this morning regarding the abduction situation in the City and the subsequent updates regarding his capture. During the conference, Cody Police Chief Perry Rockvam said the suspect's name had not been released.
A suspect, 39-year-old Jesse Paul Speer, is being held in the Gallatin County Jail in Bozeman on $2,000,000 bond. The description says "hold for Wyoming". The Bozeman Chronicle is reporting that the 39-year-old Manhattan man was arrested on felony charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and the use of a firearm. The arrest, says the Chronicle, stems from the abduction of the 11-year-old girl in Cody. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. today.
