In the early morning hours of December 19th, Rocky Mountain Ambulance and Sheridan Police Department officers responded to Rails Brews and Cues on Broadway in Sheridan for a reported altercation. A man had suffered a laceration to his neck and was transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Initially, police had a suspect in mind, but were unable to locate him. The department arrested 29-year-old Anthony Deflavis on Monday in Sheridan County on charges of Aggravated Assault and Battery.
According to the department, Deflavis was found at his girlfriend's residence in Sheridan County, and was reported to be hiding in a bedroom. He later admitted to being involved in the fight. Officials also interviewed his girlfriend, but later released her without charges. Deflavis was taken to the detention center. The case next goes to the Sheridan County Attorney's office for processing and potential prosecution.
