The Sheridan Police Department was notified of and responded to multiple hit and run reports this weekend, starting from Friday and ending Sunday. The first incident occurred on Illinois Street Friday morning, at about 8:22 AM. A vehicle struck an electrical box and dumpster. The driver was later contacted and cited for Hit and Run unattended.

While it wasn't quite on the level of previous years, Toys for Tots in Sheridan was by all means a success again this year. A back room at 151 West Brundage was three tables deep with an estimated 1,100 toys. A dozen or more bikes rounded out the gifts this year. This Saturday morning seemed like an average morning for one Sheridan resident, that is until she got off of work and went home. You know you've done something right if your non-profit gets featured in an international website such as the Huffington Post. Sheridan's own Sheridan Angels organization recently did just that. The organization was selected to represent Wyoming in the Tom's of Maine "50 States for Good" community giving program.
