PRECorp line crews made progress Saturday restoring power on the widespread power outages that occurred during Friday’s snowstorm.
However, PRECorp crews discovered additional areas that will take time to restore power as sections of line will need to be rebuilt. In particular, an area east of Highway 111 between Beulah and Sundance has at least 20 broken poles. Members in this area should plan to be out of electricity overnight and into Sunday. PRECorp cannot yet determine a time when power will be restored.
After the long day Saturday, PRECorp crews will return to their outposts this evening for required rest time. Emergency line crews will be available during the night, but the full restoration push will resume at 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
