Heightened DUI Enforcement New Year's Eve

wyohighwaypatrolCheyenne – The Wyoming Highway Patrol will be placing extra Troopers on the State’s roadways during saturation patrols looking for impaired drivers on New Year’s Eve.  These extra patrols are carried out by officers assigned solely to look for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Enzi nominates Gillette students to U.S. service academies

  enzi-a Washington, D.C. – Gillette students William Eichenberg and Erin Thamm made Wyoming U.S. Senator Mike Enzi’s list of nominees to the United States service academies for 2013. Ice fishing opportunities abound in Northeast Wyoming

IcefishSheridan: Ice fishing opportunities for trout and other popular game fish abound in Northeast Wyoming. Although most of the ice on these waters is not yet safe to fish through, good ice is expected to form soon.

 

Muddy Guard Reservoir #1 south of Buffalo is likely to produce some nice trout this winter. At Muddy Guard, all trout less than 20 inches must be immediately released. Wyoming State 4-H Foundation gives $188,000 in benefits to county 4-H programs

4hWyoming county 4-H programs have received nearly $188,000 from the Wyoming State 4-H Foundation this past year.

 

The foundation also provided more than $23,000 in awards for state-held contests.

Benefits were based only on events taking place during the fiscal year.

 

“The 4-H program offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for young people in Wyoming,” said Steve Mack, director, Wyoming State 4-H Foundation. “The more that youth are engaged and participate in those opportunities, the more likely that youth from their county 4-H program are receiving benefits from donations to the foundation.” Read more: Wyoming State 4-H Foundation gives $188,000 in benefits to county 4-H programs
