The Gillette Football team jumped out to a quick 13-0 first quarter lead, and never looked back as they held on to beat Cheyenne South, 29-6.
Tychun Aipperspach scored the first touchdown of the game, just 54 seconds into the first quarter. That was soon followed by a 60 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Seth Moerkerke to wideout Jordan Fischer.
The Camels scored 17 more points in the second quarter, thanks to scores from Moerkerke and Dustin Erisman, and a 28 yard field goal from Cale Miessler. They were held scoreless in the second half, but it didn't matter as they improved to 5-0, and will now prepare for next week's home game against unbeaten Sheridan.
The Broncs beat Rock Springs, 19-10, tonight.
