For the 5th time in the last 6 years the Gillette Camels (22-2) have claimed the 4A East Regional Tournament Championship after they held off a shorthanded Laramie (19-5) squad 60-55 on Saturday at the Castle of Chaos.
It was raining threes at the Castle of Chaos for the #1 Gillette Camels (21-2) in their 72-33 win over Cheyenne South (10-15) in the East Regional Semifinal on Friday night at the Castle of Chaos.
After experiencing the sour taste of defeat twice at the hands of Cheyenne East (20-4) in the regular season, the Gillette Lady Camels (18-5) exacted a bit of revenge and got that bitter taste out of the mouths as they ran away from the Lady T-Birds 73-47 in the 4A East Regional Semifinal at the Castle of Chaos.

Another year, another championship for the Gillette Camel wrestlers as they won the 4A State Title for the 11th straight year and 14th time overall.
The #1 Gillette Camels are well on their way to their 11th straight state wrestling title after the 1st day of Wyoming High School state championships in Casper at the Events Center.
