The 2012 4A Wyoming High School football season got started off right for the Gillette Camels as they jumped out early and took down The Red Devils in Evanston 37-24.
Junior QB Austin Fort had a very good debut for the Camels as he went 17-32 for 184 yards, 2 TDs and one rushing TD. All while only tossing one pick in the 3rd quarter.

4 members of the Gillette Lady Camels golf team all shot low enough during a two-day invite on their home course, Bell Nob, to place in the top 6 and win the team title by 127 strokes over 2nd place Riverton.
For the Camels if they could've shot as well on day 1 as they did on day 2 they probably would've won their home invite. Instead they had to settle for a tie for 3rd place after a two-day team total of 657, but the Camels shot 31 strokes better as a team during the 2nd day.
