Pronghorn basketball games to be aired on The Legend

Gillette College Pronghorn men's and women's basketball is right around the corner, the fourth season for both teams. This year, select games for the Pronghorns can be heard on their new home, 93.3 FM The Legend. The previous three seasons, Pronghorn games were aired on News Talk 1270 KIML.

     The games can also be heard online at basinsradio.com. For the first time this season, games can also be heard on most mobile devices with internet streaming capabilities through network1sports.com. Vic Wright, the morning personality for 97.3 KAML FM, will be calling most of the broadcasted games this season, his third year calling Gillette College basketball. Ted Ripko will be calling the first broadcasted game this season on Saturday, as the Pronghorn men will take on the Air Force Academy Prep Huskies at The South Campus at 7:30 pm.      The Pronghorns have a number of former players move on to four-year colleges and universities. Some notable players include James Hunter, who transferred to play for Washington State University and Kalen Foreman, who will play for Saginaw Valley State University starting this season. DeJuan Wright, who played for Gillette College on the men's inaugural team, transferred to Florida International University and played under Isaiah Thomas. He recently signed to play for the EiffelTowers Den Bosch, a pro team in the Netherlands. On the women's side, Iesha Greer and Jordan Scott-Benson both transferred to Wayland Baptist University in Texas.
