Updated: Pronghorn teams come off winter break with wins

pronghorn-sports-storyMiles City, Mont.—The Gillette College Pronghorn basketball teams quickly brushed off the snow and took to the hardwood in winning fashion Saturday night. Both the men’s and women’s teams got victories against the Miles Community College squads. The Pronghorn women (14-2) won 60-51 over the Lady Pioneers. Pronghorn men come up short against Sheridan College

There were 19 lead changes in a game that Gillette College (7-6) stayed with Sheridan College (13-3) for the first three quarters of, but the Generals were just too much, as the Pronghorns fell on the road Friday night, 72-62, at the Golden Dome.

Pronghorn women suffer second loss of season

The #13 Gillette College Pronghorn women (13-2) had trouble finding the basket, as they lost for only the second time this season on Friday night. This time it was to the Sheridan College Lady Generals (11-4), 81-51, at the Golden Dome in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Pronghorn women get lucky thirteen against Dawson
