The Gillette Wild Junior Hockey Team fell behind 1-0, in the first period, Friday against Helena. Moco Willis and Andreii Istominov each scored goals in the second period, to give the Wild the lead, but the Big Horns responded with a pair of goals in the third period, and Helena came away with a 3-2 win.
It was another close one, on Saturday, as the two teams were tied at one, after the end of the first period. Gillette's Will Fobair registered a hat trick, as he scored the first of his three goals in the first, and then scored two more in the second, for the Wild. Willis also chipped in a second period goal, as Gillette took a 4-2 lead into the final period.
Helena outscored the Wild 4-1, in the third, and came away with a 6-5 win. Gillette has now lost four straight, and will look to snap its losing streak, Thursday, at home against Billings.
