Fischer named Milward Simpson finalist

Gillette, Wyo.--Dani Fischer, who played football and wrestled for Campbell County High School, has been named one of the five 2012 Milward Simpson Award finalists. The Milward Simpson Award goes to seniors that have excelled in multiple sports during their high school career.

Rapid City, S.D.--The Gillette Roughriders (14-15) split their two games against Rapid City Post 320 on Sunday. They lost the first game, 8-7 and won the second game, 15-13.

Riders winning streak comes to an end, splits with Post 320

Gillette, Wyo.--All good things must come to an end. That was the the case for the Roughriders (13-14) 6-game winning streak. They fell to the Rapid City Post 320 Stars in the first of two games on Saturday afternoon, 5-1, but won the second game, 10-3.
