The City of Gillette's Development Services Department announces that the Gillette Avenue/1st Street intersection, and Gillette Avenue north of 1st Street, will be closed from Wednesday, April 16th through May 31st. This closure is for work on the Gillette Avenue Improvements project.

Elk Mountain – Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers and WYDOT personnel have reopened westbound Interstate 80 after a pileup crash involving at least 47 vehicles forced the closure of the westbound lanes of the Interstate for approximately 18 hours.
