Press Release - Severe winter weather and multiple crashes resulted in a road closure in both directions on Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie on Saturday (Feb. 6th) resulting in motorists becoming stranded behind the crashes. Press Release – Alex Richard Ascherin, a Wyoming inmate, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming from an alleged suicide. The incident is under investigation by the Wyoming Department of Corrections in conjunction with the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office and Carbon County Coroner.
