This morning the Campbell County Sheriff's Office released information on a fatal mine accident. Corporal Quentin Reynolds said an emergency call was placed from the North Antelope Rochelle on October 18th, 2014 about 10:36 p.m. Reynolds said a 51-year-old man died in a vehicle accident.

Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a burglary that occurred on the 1100 block of Stanley Avenue on 10-08-14 between 0700 hours and 1630 hours. During this time frame unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole a 28 speed Specialized Bicycle. The Bicycle is described as black with blue and orange pinstripes.

The Powder River Basin Resource Council, which began in Johnson County on Crazy Woman Creek, is hosting its 42nd Annual Meeting soon. Bill Bensel stopped by Community Speaks this morning to discuss both the Council, and the meeting itself. PRBRC works on agriculture issues, property rights, natural resources, and much more. Sheridan will be hosting an event on November 18th put on locally by the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming and nationally by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event is known as International Survivor of Suicide Loss Day, which is in its 19th year. A film will be shown at the Inner Circle of the Fulmer Library in Sheridan from 11 am to 1 pm.

Independent Candidate Curt Gottshall and Democrat Charlie Hardy were the only two candidates running against Senator Mike Enzi that were present at Wednesday night's debate at Sheridan College. Enzi had a statement be read that indicated he was touring the state as part of his Wyoming Works platform. Gottshall said he wasn't a politician, rather an airline pilot. His intentions if elected would be to reform campaign finance and put an end to the National Security Administration (NSA)'s data collection on Americans.

Thursday, October 30th, Brinton Museum in Big Horn will be co-sponsoring an event with the Bighorn Audubon Society in bringing Wildlife Biologist Erik Molvar of Laramie to town. Molvar is expected to speak on Sage Grouse protections on public lands. Molvar has been working on Sage Grouse conservation issues for the past 14 years, and says residential buildings and energy development are causing the population to decline from 16 million 100 years ago to between 200,000 and half a million today.
