Press Release – Governor Matt Mead is extremely pleased that the U.S. Supreme Court granted a stay of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan. Wyoming joined West Virginia and numerous other states in seeking a stay from the Court. The Court ruled 5-4 today to impose a stay.

CHEYENNE, WY – February 8th marked the deadline for initiatives to be placed on the 2016 General Election ballot. Commenting on the initiative deadline, Secretary of State Ed Murray stated: “The Committee of Applicants who represent The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws Wyoming Chapter (NORML) failed to submit the 25,673 signatures required for the placement of the ‘The Peggy A. A verdict was reached in an aggravated vehicular homicide trial for 22-year-old Cody Shinost of Thermopolis in the Wyoming 5th Judicial District Court in Worland on Thursday night, February 4.
